Coming Soon: Ye Olde Medicine Show

Humanity At It's Best
or Arlequine's Nightmare
Most of the traveling troupes of the past were families, and this one is no exception. Consisting of Dad, Mom, Son and Daughter, they make up Faire Wynds Players. And between them, they are a prestidigitator, Ledgerdemain, Gully-Gully, Montebank, Equilibrilist, Conjuror, Charlatain, Jongoulier, Escompteur, Fakir, Samnimbulist, Musician, and Juggler.

Beginning of the show
So, what makes them different from all of the OTHER "danger", "fire", or "magic" acts out there? For one thing, they are a family. And as such, they do a family act. Their goal is to create a show that will be enjoyed by all age groupes-whether that is gramma and the kids, or a couple of cynical teenagers. We want the whole crowd to walk away feeling like they saw a good show!
Smile at the fat guy!
Striking a 'manly pose'
Preparing to walk up the swords.
Because the traveling shows lasted up to three hours long, when Faire Wynds performs at an event, they usually request 3-5 30-45 minute shows per day. Each show highlights different things, so that the audience sees something different each time. It keeps us fresh, the audience interested, and a reason for the public to stick around 'cause the next show is going to be different from the last! And between the acts, if a location is arranged, the glass harps are played for the passers-by in the street, helping to keep a festive aire-and us busy!
Thanks for watching!
